Special Appearance: Arbaaz Khan, Paresh Rawal, Sohail Khan, Naseeruddin Shah, Arshad Warsi

This is the launch pad for Aamir Khan’s nephew Imran Khan and he’s lucky enough to be launched under his home productions. It’s a comedy and I hope is good at.

A. R. Rahman is known to make good music and this album is pretty much like his any other album - all songs are worth listening but the special mention goes to “Kabhi Kabhi Aditi Zindagi” by Rashid Ali and he proves that A. R. Rahman banks on him for some reason.

“Pappu Can’t Dance” is a fun song and looks like we are gonna like it on screen for some time to come. There are two versions of “Jaane Tu” - “Jaane Tu Mera Kya Hai (Aditi)” by Runa and another “Jaane Tu Meri Kya Hai (Jai)” by Sukhwinder Singh - both of them are amazing.

Rashid Ali again rocks with “Kahin To Hogi” with Vasundhara Das and shows he can do any kind of song. Then, there’s “Nazrein Milaana” and a remix of “Pappu Can’t Dance” - both of which are again excellent compositions overall.

Yet another comedy flick from Priyadarshan and I am sure a lot of us are waiting to spend some time watching this movie and leave behind the anxiety of our lives. Paresh Rawal and Akshaye Khanna shared a good comedy timing in “Hungama” last time and I really wish to see that again.

Cool! So I was listening to the music and before I mention any other songs, I really liked the way the title songs - “Mere Baap Pehle Aap” - has been sung by Sangeet Haldipur. Great Job, indeed.

Among other songs, I liked “Ishq Subhan Allah” and both the versions of “Maine Hawa Ke Paron Pe” - first by Shaan and second by Udit Narayan. “Hai Tujhko” and “Shamma Shamma” are worth listening as well.

Although, you can download Mere Baap Pehle Aap MP3 songs below by with a right click on the songs titles and then selecting “Save Target As…”, you can listen to before you download by clicking on the [Audio MP3] buttons -

Music Review: Aamir

Music Review: Aamir

Director: Rajkumar Gupta
Producer: Ronnie Screwala
Music Director: Amit Trivedi
Cast: Rajeev Khandelwal
Lyricist/s: Amitabh
Playback Singera: Qadir Khan, Murtuza Khan, Amit Trivedi, Neuman Pinto, Shilpa Rao, Amitabh
Music Release: May 2008
Movie Release: 6th June 2008

Rajeev Khandelwal’s debut movie finally will be hitting the box office on 6th June 2008 and it will be interesting to see if viewers accept as lovingly as they did him on TV. It’s thriller and I am sure this would be watched by many but not sure if they will also like it. Let’s see how Rajkumar Gupta is at this genre.

Hope well for him. I got my hands on this album today and one thing which struck my mind was the touch of folk music and singing that is on all the songs in this album. It’s perhaps the first movie composition by Amit Trivedi and he succeeds at grabbing attention. I liked “Chakkar Ghumyo” song he has sung himself. My other favourites in this album are “Allah Hoo”, “Bandya” and “Haara”.

A really good album overall and I see good time ahead for Amit Trivedi, as a Music Director and a Singer. May be as an actor as well, you never know ;)

Music Review: Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic

Music Review: Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic

Director: Kunal Kohli
Producer: Aditya Chopra, Kunal Kohli
Music: Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy
Lyricist/s: Prasoon Joshi
Cast: Saif Ali Khan, Rani Mukherjee, Rishi Kapoor, Sharat Saxena, Razzak Khan

“Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic” is based on almost the same theme as “Hum Hain Raahi Pyar Ke”. Saif Ali Khan gets to take care of four kids because of a court order, Kids hate him and then comes Rani as a Nanny to get them closure.

Anyways, how Kunal Kohli portrays the story would be interesting to watch. Here’s my take on the music Shankar, Ehsaan and Loy have put together for this movie -

Prasoon Joshi does a good job again with meaningful lyrics and while all songs are good on ears, I would rate the “Beete Kal Se” and “Lazy Lahme” the best ones. The album features remix versions of “Lazy Lamhe” and “Nihal Ho Gayi”. “Bulbula” is worth listening, too.

There are seven songs in the album and you can get your hands on them righr away. Click on the [Audio MP3] button below to listen to them right from this post or right click and select “Save Target As…” to download Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic MP3 songs to your PC -

Music Director: A R Rahman
Lyricist/s: Raqueeb Alam & Nusrat Badr

Cast: Ayesha Jhulka, Rahul Roy, Milind Gunaji, Saurabh Dubey, Nauheed Cyrusi & Ayaan Ahmad

Here comes another amazing libum by A R Rahman. His name is synomymous to good music and Ada is no exception.

“Ishq Ada” by Rashid Ali is my most favourite song in all the recent albums I have listened to. Other songs which I liked next are “Milo Wahan Wahan”, “Gulfisha” and “Hai Dard”. That doesn’t mean other songs are not good - they are but you know not everything can sound the best to every ear.

Take your pick below - listen to the songs by clicking on the [Audio MP3] button or to download Ada MP3 songs to your system, right click and select “Save Target As…” -

Music Review: Love Story 2050

Music Review: Love Story 2050

Director: Harry Baweja
Producer: Pammi Baweja
Music: Anu Malik
Lyricist/s: Javed Akhtar
Cast: Priyanka Chopra, Harman Baweja, Karan Verma, Boman Irani, Harsh Vasisht, Rachit Trehan, Mehezabeen Sarela, Archana Puran Singh
Music Release: 10th May 2008
Movie Release: 4th July 2008

Harman Baweja’s debut movie is already hyped. The promos and setting of the movie is in future and the promos being aired are a guarantee that we will see a lot of Hollywood kind of special effects and sci-fi concepts in the movie.

Movie apart, music in the album is done by Anu Malik and when I got my hands on the album, I was full of curiosity to see if Anu Malik has come up to the expectations of Harry Baweja. Verdict, I guess, is that he has done good job and I, personaly, liked most of the songs in the album.

Before any other song, I would say “Milo Na Milo” is probably the best song in this album and that may explain why the promo shows this song. Some of my other favourite ones are “Mausam Achanak Badla Kyon”, “Sach Kehna” and “Meelon Ka Jaisa Tha Fasla”.

The album also features “Aa Gaya Hoon Main” by Kay Kay. There are happy and sad versions of “Meelon Jaisa Tha Fasla” and “Jaane Kaisi Hai Teri Meri Love Story”. Alisha’s also got to sing “Lover Boy Will You” for Anu Malik once again.

Music Review: Khushboo

Music Review: Khushboo

“Paake Tujhe” is a melodious song and melt in your ears. The “Lovers Mix” version of the same song by Eric Pillai is worth listening but Kay Kay’s voice plays magic in the original song. I would rate “Kya Hai Sochti Tu” an average song. “Badi Albeli Hai Tu” is an item song and scores just average again on that.

“Dil Ye Kahe” is another favourite in this album. The music score is good. “Tum Jo Mile Humko” by Adnan Sami and Mahalaxmi Iyer sounds out of this album. The same is true for “Kyon Hai Mujhe Lagta”. These two songs are soft and are probably the best songs in this album.

Rest of the songs are remix versions, are average and can be forgotten quickly. Judge them yourself - to listen to the songs, click the [Audio MP3] button below and if you want to download Khushboo MP3 songs, right click on the song titles and select “Save Target As…” -

Music Review: Ghatothkach

Music Review: Ghatothkach

Here’s comes another animation movie for the kids in the summers. While I hope it will be a treat like Hanuman last year, I want to say that music is really good and enjoyable by the adults equally.

A special mention goes to “Main Hoon Ghatothkach” which is featured twice, the child version by Shravan and Adult version by Sudesh Bhonsle. This song is very cute and kids will have fun singing the song, too.

“Maya Bazaar” and “Sajaa Hai Bhojanalay” are other songs which I liked myself. “Angalik Bangalik Jaadu Hai” should be the other favourite of kids of all ages.

There’s one love songs in the album as well - “Main Yahan To Wahaan” - and a bhajan by Mahalaxmi Iyer - “NatNaagar Ki Hai Saari Leela”.

The album is overall a relief. You can listen to the songs below by clicking to [Audio MP3] button and if you watn to download the Ghatothkach MP3 songs, right click on the song titles and select “Save Target As…” -

Music Review: Don Muthu Swami

Music Review: Don Muthu Swami

Mithun’s “Don Muthu Swami” is releasing on May, 23rd and Mimoh is still waiting to see if viewers accept him with “Jimmy“. Would Mithun celebrate if “Don Muthu Swami” takes over “Jimmy” at the box office. ;)

Anyways, I am listening to the songs of this movie as I am writing this and I must admin that I liked the music of this movie better than I did Jimmy’s.

Probably the best song in this album is “Tum Kaun Ho” - it goes smooth in your ears and it really catchy. I am not underwriting the songs from oldies (Yes, they are in this almbum) like “I Am A Disco Dancer (Disco Dancer 1982)“, “Pyar Lo Pyar Lo (Swami Dada 1982)“, “Jimmy Jimmy Jimmy Aaja (Disco Dancer 1982)“, “Saath Saath Tum Chalo (Sitara 1980)” and “Jeena Bhi Kya Koi Jeena Hai (Kasam Paisa Karnewale Ki 1984)” - they are proven timeless ones.

I Love you - I Love you” is another good song while Anu Malik lends his voice to average “Baby I Love“. Karaoke version of these songs are also included in album. There’s one more track which has the dialogues from the movie.

Here’s what you can do now. Click on the [Audio MP3] button to listen to the songs online (To download Don Muthuswami MP3 songs, right click on song titles and select “Save Target As…”)-

  1. I Love You - I Love You - Emon Chatterjee, Deepali
  2. Baby I Love - Anu Malik
  3. Tum Kaun Ho - Shaan, Mahalaxmi Iyer
  4. I Love You - I Love You [Karaoke Track] - Emon Chatterjee, Deepali
  5. Baby I Love [Karaoke Track] - Anu Malik
  6. I Am A Disco Dancer (Disco Dancer 1982) - Vijay Benedict, Chorus

This is the much taled about pop album SRK was working on to promote his IPL team Kolkata Knight Riders in DLF League. I got my hands on the album and the onlly thing I want to say is you should have it. All songs are full of energy and they force to tap your feet. My favourites are the “Jai Jai Shiv Shankar” song and the remix versions of it - yeah, there are two remix versions of the song in the album, too. Usha Uthup’s “Ki Anondo Anondo Re” is another favourite of mine in this album. SRK’s “Om Shanti Om” and “Dard E Disco” from OSO are also there in the remix avatars.

SRK is singing the “Everybody Just Run Run” song himself and does it well.
